Well, I read the entire article. No surprises, but nothing on global warming either. Big whoop. I read the ADN and listen to NPR and APRN daily. I even (gasp!) have been known to claim I hold no brief for the woman. OMG!

Yawn, even. Alaska politics has always had it's share of dips, dolts and grifters. So has Illinois (four last governors are either serivng time or barred from office if that makes a diifference). Louisiana has had a lot of corrupt pols too. We know our problems. What amazes me is a state that has half the people of Sacramento has such a fascination for every one Outside.

But, despite all the crap we have elected into office, we have also had to put up with corrupt federal prosecutors and inept Fibbies pushing for prosecution with half-baked cases. Not saying they weren't right about the probable guilt of the pols they had convicted. They probably were. But after 3 overturned convictions, you have to wonder why their agenda pushed for convictions with facricated evidence and outright lack of respect for the due process of the law (hidden evidence, lack of disclosure in the discovery process, and witness subornment (is that the word?). Are we that much of a 3rd world nation to the federal government that we also get the worst that THEY have to offer. Why doesn't someone from Outside notice this instead of some bimbo in the guv's mansion?

Ahh, it might tick off someone from Outside instead of the poor benighted electorate in Alaska. Maybe someone from Outside might want to make a deal out of that, instead of riding the one-trick pony.

Nope, they don't care about us, they just like trolling.

Well I didn't read it. Six f*&#ing pages! Are you kidding me? I have a life outside of the computer, and the weather is too nice outside anyway. The author needs to master the art of the EXECUTIVE SUMMARY.

Moose, the weather on POW has sucked for days. I saw a bunch of tourists in the cafe yesterday morning when I went to get coffee and they were all saying they'd never come back

This is interesting...

Walter Hickel, 89, a former two-term governor and interior secretary, and the grand old man of Alaska politics, who was co-chair of Palin’s winning gubernatorial campaign, in 2006, now washes his hands of her. He told me simply, “I don’t give a damn what she does.”
Wally Hickel also had some unflattering things to say about Palin's Canadian pipeline.

I am pleased to agree with those of you who think that 6 pages on the Wasilla airhead is over the top. I could ghost-write that turkey's (unabridged) biography in a couple of sentences, max 3.
