Perhaps we'll have an opportunity to make book on that in the future, but it's looking pretty unlikely.

There is a lot of sentiment here that the pipeline should be for Alaskans and not Canadians.

Wally Hickel is no liberal. Can you tell me, by the way, which party he was a member of when he ran and won the governorship of Alaska?
The Republican and Alaska Independence parties. Interestingly enough, he also resigned in his term as Governor after three years (1966-'69) to serve as the Secretary of the Interior for Richard Nixon.

I don't think Palin is quitting for any such reasons, though.

Hickel at first declined Nixon's offer; Nixon didn't want to take no for an answer. Hickel ended up being somewhat of a dissenting voice in Nixon's administration and didn't last too long.

You probably shouldn't have posted that photochop of the gov....if Ray's wife catches him slobbering over it she may inflict permanent brain damage this time.

She's a babbling idiot....a perfect republican, like Satchmo

She did however get rid of Frank for us...maybe now, with luck, she'll disappear like he did

Stolen from.... Progressive Alaska

You are right about that.

Big shame on you, Curmudgeon And...thank you, too.

Oh, come on! She is just a politician like a lot of others, except that she is cute. The whole Congress is full of idiots from both sides.

Yes, they would. Lisa is nothing but a liberal Republican, and could easily be replaced by Palin and a few others. The only reason Lisa won-after being appointed to Congress by her father-was because she was more conservative than the alternative running against her.
