As soon as the "Enemy" gets a Nuke, you can figure we are going to lose a major city in a mushroom cloud. But since we are going to offer them all the legal prevliges of U.S. Citizens, maybe they will play nice... Or not...

Last I checked, the laws of the United States of America are valid in wartime as well. Sorry, you don't get to selectively pick and choose which laws you want to follow.

America's excuse to have nuclear weapons is that we are a nation of laws and democracy with morals and values for human life. If we torture, what gives us the right to have such weapons and tell countries such as Iran, they can't. People are so quick to jump the gun, LET'S GET EM! North Korea is just aching to have a reason to launch some nuclear weapons. Now we attack North Korea and then Russia joins in...well we just ruined our country and put our entire civilization at risk and for what...measuring dick sizes...our own pride?

America needs no "EXCUSE" to possess nuclear weapons. The US developed nuclear weapons as a matter of NATIONAL SURVIVAL during WWII and continues to maintain a nuclear arsenal to guarantee national security against numerous existential threats. What in the world are they teaching you guys in school these days?

How do we solve murders in America?

Do we torture them? No and yet we actually are able to solve murders and put those who are found guilty to life in prison or death (either is fine). That is setting a good example. A trial that isn't in a hidden location. Where you are innocent until proven guilty. I don't think anyone is saying...well let them keep bombing us and we won't retaliate. That is not what I'm saying.

If a terrorist is found while raiding a bomb factory, kill them, do what you want. However, there is a gray area...where people not in the battlefield have been taken from their homes...in countries around the world (not just in Iraq). Reminds me of the Salem Witch Trials...pretty soon you are so encompassed by fear...you accuse someone and with no trial, you are tortured to death. What was the test they did...a witch can't drown, so they'd dump your body into a well and wouldn't stop until a) you confessed or b) you die at which they would say you will go to heaven.

You have to ask yourself...how can some people around the world hate us so much, that they would blow themselves up and think they are doing the world justice? How do these people recruit children, who turn into the next generation of terrorists? This isn't a new thing...terrorism has been around a lot longer than 9/11.

Until we try attacking that problem, terrorism will never end. We can continue building nuclear weapon after nuclear weapon, but one of these days...a terrorist will get a hold of one of these weapons and use it against us.

America won't be the top dog forever. We see it already happening, that is why we will need help from our allies and their respect.
