lol...yeah!..let's start an arms race, then when the first nuke goes off, we can launch our nukes and since they don't live in a specific country, let's shoot them all over the place, than we can get other countries to join in and we can turn our planet into dust...it will be worth it man! DEY TURK UR JOOBS!!! YOU TELL EM' SKEETER!!

I'm sorry, but in all seriousness...the GOP is going to have to radically change itself...otherwise I don't see how they will ever gain power again with this generation of youths. They might have one more chance...otherwise I think we will see 30+ years of Democrats in the White House.

I am just curious to know because this is the main reason if we look beyond what is morally right or wrong...this is the main reason why in my view torturing to get information causes more harm than good.

It's like having a rotting deck and instead of replacing the deck, you keep adding more and more pieces of wood underneath the rotting wood...it will never fix the problem and it will just make it harder to fix for the next person who buys that house or the next generation who inhabit this Earth.
No it won't create more terrorists. They already exist. Unless you plan on breeding some yourself. Which, in America, is your choice.

Fear not. Your president was just in Russia, discussing reducing the nuke count. It's all good!

LOL, that is what they were saying about the Dems 8 years ago when Bush won. So many with short memories.

Today we learnt that the right wingers on this group think of the American laws as optional. I wonder what they think of that pesky little piece known as the US Constitution. Is that optional, too?

Normally, the Dems win more seats in the Senate and House, than the next election, the Reps win more in the Senate and House. I can't remember the last time where one party has grown so much in two elections back to back.

Maybe your just naive. Educate yourself. The US Constitution does not apply to prisoners of war. The aren't US citizens. Even US militiary service members are subject to a different set of laws then the average citizen.

Yep, and was said with Clinton, and with Reagan, and Carter, and Nixon...

You can always spot the new voters when they start opining about "generational shifts" between republicans and democrats. The names change, but the politics stay the same.
