YAZ, personally, I beg to differ. Obama comes thru as a very good, inteligent speaker. What a difference from last 8 years!

I'll give Bush credit for one thing...the media was terribly rough on him, you could even say it LAMBASTED him constantly. He didn't go cryin' that he was a victim, he just continued obliviously on.

John, I've just got to ask. What mess exactly are you referring to?

Maybe I have missed it along the way, but what is it that actually entitles you or anyone else to "hate her"?

Oh yes...but at least he spared us the spectacle of an ongoing hissy fit. Not that there wouldn't have been some fun to be had with that.

The man was picked on constantly in the press. Every day there would be some new delight...but at least he had the class to not have public tantrums about it.

John, with due respect, an intelligent speaker got elected . I would much prefer an intelligent doer. *sigh*

I agree Met, we can give Bush credit for that. Palin is picking fights with bloggers for crying out loud.

I just have to ask, have you seen any of the SNL episodes devoted to SP?

Yep , he was smarter than me, I had no clue there was 57 some odd states.

It amazes me to watch him as he bobs his head to the right telepromter to the left. At least when Bush spoke, it was to the people he was addressing.

Funny when he was with that Irish guy and he started thanking the U.S. And himself when he was reading the wrong script and had no clue to what he was reading.
