Hey girls, I have a serious question to ask and a man just won't know the answer to this one
I am trying to prepare myself for this move so I am shopping for certain things to wear. I ran across this great shoe sale. Before I could remember my purpose I bought several pairs of open-toed sandals some with straps, some without. The heals on those great looking shoes are 2-4 inches. Will these be of any use in Alaska in the warm season?![]() |

Any town or city in summer. Women wear them all the time.

You can wear them in Alaska but keep in mind that a lot of the smaller towns have no sidewalks or paved roads.

Just remember to use some bug juice on the toes, mosquitos bite those too!

Oh--there's nothing worse than that.
I saw the first mosquitoes of the season yesterday. |

Mossies are the AK state bird! You did not know that?
I wear flip flops all summer with no problems at all (but DO remember the bug juice: a bit on you toe can not be scratched that easily) |
