Are there any places to buy timeshares there. I went online and found 1 in Homer but that was it. Does anyone know of any or something similar, maybe called something else (no I don't know what else they might be called other than timeshares ).

Thanks,

Faith

Well I'm no expert but as far as I know timeshares are mostly found in resort towns and cities. They're generally associated with beach or skiing destinations like Aspen, Colorado or Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Maybe you should look for residence hotels instead if what you're lookgin for is a furnished place with an equipped kitchen for a week or two,

Yeah I know, hot places. But since people can ski there a good chunk of the year I thought maybe there might be some for that and due to the fishing but I figure most people just pay to stay at a lodge or the such since they come in herds.

Bed and Breakfasts are a big item here. I really have never heard of a time share in Alaska.

I see that there are a number of timeshare links for Whittier too. Although when you click on the links you get zero. I would think that if they were offered anywhere it would be in Girdwood.

Maybe they are going to renovate the old Buckner building in Whitter into time shares. It's vacant. Good ground floor opportunity for Bob and his ideas.

Default Fractional Ownership

There was lady selling timeshares in Willow. She called it franctional ownership. I have talked to her a couple times. She also runs a bed and breakfast.

I can't find her on the internet now.

Doesn't that Buckner place in Whittier have a bunch of asbestos that needs disposed of?

Nothing that some Stimulus funds won't fix.

It's been years since we've been to Whittier but we used to walk up there and look around in it. Probably weren't supposed to but who was gonna chase us away? It's sad they let that place go to waste like that.
