So far, I travel one whole state. Visiting some friends now. I probably am just going to do it on my own. I don't have enough room for a matress and really just have enough room for some things waterproofed in plastic bags in the bed. I have four foot of bed left. And I don't want to be responsible for anything stolen. I still have some cab space left for some suitcases and any personal items. etc.
I got a response from a woman to go up which fell through. I showed up and she wanted to pay me when we got there. Yeah, right. Each time we stopped for gas, I wanted her to pay half. She got a bit mad and said she wouldn't agree to those conditions while she was loading my truck with her stuff. What?
I took her stuff out and left. I even explained the conditions clearly before hand in the email to her. Eh, it was only 30 miles out of my way.
No weirdos and I still hit the motherload on the first pass.
So right now, the offer still stands for a simple "traveler." I'll probably be back on the road again soon this coming week. My things really only took up half the truck, half the cab and not even half the bed.
