We made it!
Actually got here a little more then a week ago but thanks to my great packing skills we lost 3 out of 4 monitors to the dust from Canada road construction or the bouncing so was delayed in posting.
We love the house in Homer and so far all has been great including the 58 pounds of halibut filet in the freezer (20 left after first shipment went out to our sons in socal).
Thanks to all of you for all the input in getting us here and Warpt was right... The last 100 miles of Canada was rough. First bump knocked my cigarette between my legs second one send my head of the top of the truck as i was avoiding the cigarette. Was more carefull after that!
As we head into winter i am sure i will be bugging you with more newbie questions like whats this white stuff falling from the sky??
