Every part of the country is going to have an accent. So yes, we do have an accent. Some say it sounds like a Canadian accent.

Considering most Alaskans came from other States and other countries, there are many different accents. As to the accents you hear on TV, that depends on where the show is made. |

Well it's hard to speak clear when your lips are stuck together frozen.
My accent is similiar, but its the beer foam I blame...  |

Most of the Americans I hear on TV are incoherent and borderline illiterate. Most Alaskans seem to do a slightly better job as a whole. Maybe we don't watch as much TV up here. |
