Default Alaska Spelling Bee Question
Q: Does everybody everywhere else spell "winch" (as in winch on your truck)
wench, or is it just an Alaska redneck thing? Up here you often see it spelled that way in the classifieds: "4WD truck for sale....has new wench", etc.

I always thought wench was a woman of the unsavory kind. Like: "blast it...I got drunk in Vegas, then when I sobered up found out I had married that wench"...

Just curious...
