You gotta love they are calling it a tour as though they
were Britney Spears.
(why did oops i did it again suddenly cross my mind)
Anyway are you gonna take them out to party like rock stars?

LOL, too bad we don't stream live here at KYUK. We're airing them now live out here. You might be able to hear it at APRN - Alaska Public Radio Network . Not sure though. They sure are long winded! Senator Begich is here, as is Gov. Parnell. |

They were supposed to start at 9am this morning, but Alaska Airlines showed them what it's like for us residents out here in Bush Alaska what we have to put up with. They taxied out to the runway in Anchorage and had a mechanical and had to return to the tarmac to fix it. They were a couple hours late. The meeting just started about a half hour ago. They are interfering with my Wednesday afternoon music! They have plans to fly out to Hooper Bay after the meeting, the weather just picked up and started raining, they should have fun!

I'm sure they are soooo appreciative.
Wonder if they got stuck on the plane when it was out on the tarmac?
(unlike those poor sob's on continental last week)
Bet their ride has good snacks!

Hooper Bay should be an eye-opener for the Outsiders. Hopefully, they won't refer to Appalachia as poverty stricken after they see real Bush life. Maybe HUD could actually consider helping some real hard pressed folks.

Jeez, they look like my wife dressed them. She wanted me to wear khaki dockers on my way to Newtok. No kidding. She thinks I look like a slob when I wear jeans and a denim shirt on the plane.
