Default Taking car to Bethel

My dad is moving to Bethel next month and will be taking his car with him. We were wondering how exactly to send the car up there. What company handles all of that? What would be the cheapest way to send the car? We are currently in San Francisco. Would we be better off driving up to Seattle and shipping it from there?

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

Driving it to Seattle and barging it on Northland would be the easiest way if he has no time to drive up to Alaska and then ship it from Anchorage. You might want to hurry and check the schedules on shipping to Bethel, the fall barges get filled fast this time of year. Deadline to ship from Seattle to Bethel is August 31st. If he misses that he can drive up to Anchorage provided he has a passport, the deadline to ship from Anchorage is September 10th.

Couldn't it be barged to Anchorage then lifted by helicopter to Bethel?
