Default Seward - Rental Market

Hello Seward Experts...

What is the short and long-term rental market like in your lovely town? I've been mulling over the idea of buying a property for rental purposes. And yes, I know I need to go and investigate in person - and I will! But just doing some prelim research here.

Are you saturated on both counts?

I'm open to both short-term rentals for tourists and long-term rentals for residents. I'm looking at properties that are actually in town.

If you are doing long distance...I think would be a better idea for long-term rental...then don't have to worry about cleaning, etc...

For some reason there seems to be a shortage of rental properties here. (except in the winter when the seasonal workers are gone) Not a whole lot to pick from.
