I must be a fool, but I've not given up. I'll just have to re-work plans (again), think I'll just have to "show up" next spring for a vaca and just never go back I had three calls on my resume this month, but the same thing, they will hire someone already there "but call us once you hit town". By then maybe I can trust that my kids are actually ready for me to be so far away. Hope it all works out for you though!!

Girl, I went through that with kids...they will never be readiy to let you go....you have to go and decide what could bring you back....I am glad you were there this time , but then you need to decide what you need to go on with your life...you are mom, they are children and at this point, you rule...they will adjust to your lifestyle...maybe not like it so much, but they will adjust....

Lyoness - I loved the pic of the truck you posted with "AK to wherever it was" on their spare cover. Did you really see that out driving? See, they left ....and now there's a space up here for you . (for whenever the timing is right, the stars are aligned and the moon is in Aquarius!)

LOL, they we on 23 heading north in Ann Arbor MI, cracked me up, they couldn't be heading back to AK that way and weren't heading south toward GA, almost wanted to flag them down & get their story Sometimes holding on to my dream is the only thing I have to keep me going. I just have to take a deep breath and replan thru the winter. This was just not supposed to be my year, but that doesn't mean next year isn't! Got my daughter stablized for now, the rest is up to her, but I can pretty much guarantee she won't be trying that again! My kids keep telling me to follow my dream, they've known it since they were way small. Now that they have been out on their own for a long time now, they have to learn to allow me a little breathing room too.
