Are there any nice towns where you can either purchase land or have homes already developed where there is no property tax (unincorporated area)?

My dream is to either have a cabin built or buy a pre-existing one in Alaska for hunting... was wondering if there were any Alaskans that can point me in the right direction? Thanks

I think both Central and Circle on the Steese Highway are outside of any borough taxing districts.

The areas in white have no organized Boroughs (Counties) that have property taxes, there is however cities, towns and villages there that may have property taxes within their city limits.

My land near Manley Hot Springs has no taxes. At the end of the road system.

Port Alexander, Alaska is on the southern tip of Baranof Island in southeast Alaska and there is no property tax and homes are cheap. It is remote and beautiful. There are very nice people who live there year round. Harris Air from Sitka flies into Port Alexander. Thorne Bay on Prince of Whales Island also has no property tax.

Delta Junction, and it's situated well on the road system, 100 miles from Fairbanks and lots of good land, and good schools.

Yup, the eastern interior towns of Delta, Tok, and Glennallen are probably the most substantial areas on the road system without property taxes.

I hear that the Aurora is staggering in Tok. Another good reason to live there in my book.

Is there a map of all the un-taxed areas of the state? Is there any other states with areas of no property tax?
