I couldn't be happier with DirecTV. As long as you have a view of the southern sky where the satellites are, you're golden. And now that MTA is offering up to 10Mb/sec speeds, I'm finally a happy camper.

If it weren't for the small silver thumb sized screw-on cylindrical metal part that is still on your cable-tv cable right outside your wall... you could enjoy free basic channels. Oy vey...

What DO you guys pay for cable up there? We have Time Warner here & w/digital plus internet it ran me over $100. I got rid of the cable, still have the internet but the internet alone is still $48. Now, the reason I don't get rid of the internet thru Time Warner is because the b*stards are sneaky....you keep the internet & they still keep on like 8 cable channels just to lure you to staying w/them for internet:hence, you get rid of their internet & there go the cable channels.

It's not cheap, I'll tell you that. However, I go with DirecTV for the NFL Sunday Ticket.

And here are the Internet prices from MTA, which is for the most part the main provider here in the Valley.
