Default More Polar Bear stuff

The last few years I have posted a bunch of photos of Polar Bears from where we work the boats in the Arctic Ocean, one of the guys took this photo of a sow with two cubs by the boats....

I still get a kick of seeing them!

I didn't see any in Prudhoe Bay.

In fact, I didn't see one bear, brown and/or polar, on the entire drive from Anchorage to Deadhorse.

For this one shot.... I would figure about five hundred miles +-....

Sorry couldn't resist... One of my crew took it a few days after I came back down to home for a bit. He was about 150' sitting In the truck trying to get to the boat. The boat was about 300 feet down the beach.

If you wanted a cool new nickname like "Stumpy", all you would need to do is go pet one of the cubs....
