I can't put forth a good argument on the pros and cons of a healthcare bill that's not even going into effect until 2014.

However, I can put up a good argument against the most expensive, and destructive piece of crap that's ever come out of Washington: The Patriot Act.

The patriot act was a result of a direct action. The "affordable care act" was nothing but a socialistic dream act(also the "dream act") is just a social nightmare

I agree. In that so much of that money goes toward defending people who have no clue as to the reason this country was founded, or appreciation for the liberties thus secured, and so willing to hand over said liberties to the latest slick-talking charlatan du jour - that money has essentially been wasted.

It's a chore to counter some outright irrational resopnses here so forgive me if I don't try. The health care act has already stopped insurance companies from dropping children and adults who could not get insurance or who were cut off insurance due to condtions they had prior to coverage.

All children in the U.S.A. are now guaranteed insurance. In 2012 to 2014 costs will decrease. Elderly have more options and more funded options for care in Anchorage and many other cities.

Whether it is socialism, madness or silliness it is helpful and helping millions of Americans who previously could not a bone fixed or a tooth saved.

Deal with it. Its a good idea and it's working. Not perfect but much better than what it was. Ask any family whose kid got bumped off their insurance plan.
