Default Thank you Alaska and City Data

OK Here you go ! Thank you to everyone on the Alaska forum that gave me any kind of adivise or encouragemnt for driving the Alcan. In restro spect ya no big deal but really thought it was. OK so you have some bears (with my border collie border insane} kind an issue but no big deal. If I hadn't had the support and advise of you all I don't know if I could have done it. Yes I could have but man the advice and support was great.

If it wasn't for City Data I would have never been to Alaksa it got me to Pahoa Hawaii if you need to spread around reps Leilaniguy post made me go to Hawaii because I couldn't find my birth certicate for my 4-th birthday. His posts got me to Hawaii when I was thinking of moving to Deadwood SD. How I met Debey.

I am not a spoilied till now child. City Data I love Pa and Debey from SD helped me out when I was loosing my mind from my father passing away. No place as much as I searched and searched gave me any type of help. I Love Pa (Deb also) and Debey that you know from SD helped me so much. She has offered to but flowers on my Dads and family graves.

You can put down strangers or a newbie onto a forum. It is kinda weird that just a sentance can make a differnece in a persons life. But I am here to say Thank you and my life has expanded not only by my in person experiences but also by your input. And I have had an incredible life the last year with your help!

Alaska is just another place but it's people are incredible. I know each place has it own but from the feashness of a new state. I love Hawaii but it is not the same. I won't go into it but

Thank you Alaska and the incredible people that post here. You are the last of the frontier and will share it with those I believe you feel worthy. wasn't all that worthy but you still helped me thank you!

Thank you Mahalo
Kim

You most certainly "are worthy" the same as anyone else Kim. Yes, Alaska is beautiful and it's for anyone who wants to come / move here. Many, many here are transplants from the lower 48, myself included. No-one owns Alaska as they don't the other States; we are all free and worthy to go where we choose. The forums are great for obtaining information from many helpful people.

I am so glad you enjoyed your time here. I don't know Debey personally but I do know from chatting with her and the way she handles the "mod" she is one gem of a lady. So have fun in your travels, take good care of yourself and that doggie; keep us posted and enjoy life.

Hey Kim what "not worthy"?
You are, everyone here is except for maybe the trolls.
City-Data is great in that it's a place where people from different walks of life, place and viewpoint all come together with the same idea of wanting to share with others.
You came to the Alaska forum, you shared and now you're moving on to live in another state. But that doesn't mean you can't drop in here to say hi and post.
LOL I'm from NJ and somehow I ended up here on the Alaska forum. Came to ask a question, found interesting and nice people so I've stayed around. Honestly it's like CD crack!
So like Alaskapat noted don't be a stranger, let us know how you are doing and your little dog too! (sorry love the wizard of oz, couldn't resist!)
Have fun in Hawaii!

Thank you everyone! I didn't mean not worthy in a bad way just as in a humble person in the area of such beauty and good people! I sure wish everyone could experience what I have done in the last year. Although I do understand that Alaska has it grace from not everyone being there. I look forward to being back next year!! And yes there are amazing people on this forum and in the world if you allow them to become part of yours! Cheers and you all have a great winter!! I will be lurking! and saying HI and enjoying all of your posts and pictures!!!
