Question FAIRBANKS: Apartments with W/D Hookups

Does such a thing exist, in Fairbanks?

All I've found online are apartment complexes with laundry rooms that have coin/token-operated equipment -- I haven't done my laundry in one of these since I was in my 20s!

With a house, it's a "given" (I guess); but what's a renter to do?

Perplexed

From what I have noticed most apts here have central washer/dryer areas some duplex have them in each unit or maybe one of the condos. Most renters here go to the laundry mats if their places don't offer it.

You are correct. All depends on the situation. For example, one of my coworkers is a landlord, and rents several apartments at three or four houses he owns (2-bedroom, 2-apartment houses). Every apartment is furnished, and include the following other than furniture and beads:
-Refrigerator
-Stove
-Dishwasher
-Washer
-Dryer
-Garage

The rent for every 2-bedroom apartment is around $1,400 a month, and seldom have any vacancies.

Apartment complexes, in the other hand, usually have communal laundry rooms with coin-operated machines.
