Do you use fur? I think it's hard to beat a fur coat, or hat when it's really cold.

-22 to -18 here at the base of Baldy mountain outside of Wasilla... Our thermo is less than accurate which is why you got that range..
Sophie is out in the yard playing.. It just amazes me how she is toasty warm at that temp..
It's one of those mornings that even a small noise sounds like a bomb going off.. Everything has that hoar frost look, the sun is coming up and the sky is light red/blue and it's so still you could hear a church mouse. The fire is going, the other dog is laying by my side...
There is no other place I would rather be right now.. The peace this state gives a person is beyond description.

Is there any snow on the ground right now in Anchorage/Wasilla? If its that cold, I would at least hope that you guys have some snow! I'm sure Fairbanks area has a bunch of snow right now.

I do. Its great because it can be bitterly cold outside but you can still be toasty wearing a t shirt under a mink or raccoon coat.

Yeah, we use fur outdoor clothers in Winter time. Here for example in the wintry fishing
