Pat, no one in that linky lives in Thorne Bay.
Lynn--the local newspaper on Prince of Wales Island is situated in Thorne Bay. It is called the Island News. They don't have an online version; here's there contact info. You could put a small ad in. Everyone knows everyone and even if your brother didn't see it himself, someone else would and probably tell him:

One person on the link said they lived there for about 2 yrs so maybe...just maybe...they might remember him or know something. Anything is worth a try.
