Default Looking for work

Hello, I would like to have a job in Alaska as a logger, do you happen to know any entry level position.
I am going over there soon and I would like to get some outdoors job in logging if possible.

If you read through this thread, you saw that logging in Alaska is mostly a dead industry. There are still a few companies making a go at it, but nothing like back in the '80's and '90's .
You can see a list of most of the logging outfits on the AFA website: Regular Membership Roster, Alaska Forest Association

And... I just realized its October. Most outfits shut down for winter rather than fight the snow. The places I worked for would wrap up before Thanksgiving and be shut down until mid February or later. So you are trying this at the worst time of year.

Don't forget to get your red suspenders that say "Alaska Logger" on them. Then folks will know you're legit.....
