Rlocating to Wasill/Porter are from Southeast U.S. area (Wasilla: relocating, real estate)

I am a middle aged single female thinking of relocating to the Wasilla/Porter area and work in the health care field. Am seeking employment at the Mat-Su Medicl Center.

When I move I will not be bringing funiture with me at first but need to know what I would need to bring with me to keep me from buying everything. I have an SUV and will of course bring my T.V. and kitchen stuff and a few small convertible type furniture items if they will fit in my car. I don't want to bring stuff that cost no more to buy there than to leave here so any helpfull advice is greatly apprediated.

I am looking for rental property: loft apt,cabin,or small house in a guite area close to the hospital and would appreciate the names of any real estate people in the area.

Anyone in my age group (though young spirited but not a party animal) interested in emailing me so I can pick your brain about the area would also be appreciated. I am not interested in any romantic involvememt, so those types of emails not encourage.
