Are you trying to say that you knew this kid was living in the bus at the time, and that he was possibly in trouble but you did not help him? I did not read the book, but it was my understanding that nobody knew he was in the bus, starving.

People knew he was living in the bus but no one knew he was in trouble as he did not first....flag anyone, put out any signs to show he needed help, did not go out and wave arms etc...if you need help and hear a plane you wave, flash something shiny, start a fire something....he didn't do any of that from what everyone who flew over says..
