This is true even in Anchorage in some ways. Due to distance, time difference, delivery times, etc........there can be a lot of different processes at a job than what a new person is used to. It doesn't make the way we do things here wrong, just different. The important thing is to find out "why" it is different, and develop an understanding for what it takes to keep a village or city running up here.

Yes, very true in Anchorage. I have found every place to be a bit different, even in the lower 48. It was very interesting for me to learn on the job about the different cultures, villages, etc. I asked alot of questions, had interactions with all cultures, learned alot and enjoyed it.

I'm a republican, I can't stand our president, the healthcare reform is a one way street to a socialistic America in my opinion. I DO like Sarah Palin, I love to hunt and fish, so naturally I'm completely against gun control. If someone spit in my food, I'd be really apt to find them when the time and place is right and kick their butt.

I believe in hard work, God, and being a gentleman to women. I have no problems with welfare, but I can't stand people who are too lazy to get off their butts and work, and would instead live off the government. I am disgusted by people who take the free road, and live a better life than those of us who struggle to work for what they have.

I do not get along with liberals very well at all. PETA and organizations like it make my skin crawl.
I was referring to the taco bell post in this forum. I'm not worried about someone spitting in my food, because like you said it is highly unlikely.
