I can laugh with myself about this. I snow shoed one of the favorite mountains here in town 2 days ago and I did really well, I figured because I had been snowshoeing the flats every chance I got all winter. At some point I remember saying to my friend, whom I figured was in much better shape "Wow, this is easier than what I thought." When I got home 2 hours later I ate quickly and sat down and fell asleep for 2 1/2 hours, when I awoke, every muscle and bone was screaming at me for relief. I didn't move except to drink, the rest of the night, I watched 3 movies. I saw my friend today and she said, "hey maybe we can stay on the flats this week." I am much better 2 days later! please no pity parties I guess I thought I was 26 again, atleast that's how I felt when I was climbing. I would post a picture with this, but at work and forgot my camera. It was a great day though, just the ending was a little sad.
