Hey everyone,

Are there any Juneau residents here who rely on over-the-air TV programming? If so, how many channels are you able to receive, and how well do they come in?

I am a new resident and am looking at my options for TV/Internet.

Thanks for this input

Most people here get stations via cable or satellite dish. Here's a list of over the air stations:

TVJuneau.com - The source for television information in Juneau Alaska

I have no idea what the reception is like.

The cable company is GCI, which also offers cable modem for internet. ACS offers DSL. There is also dial-up, but I haven't used it in years. It was never very fast because of poor phone lines to the switching stations and why we didn't consider DSL as an option.
