In need of office supplies shipped to Alaska??
Can anyone tell me of some office internet companies who do ship to Alaska, maybe even free shipping. Prices around here are just to expensive, but when I try to order on line they want over $35.00 just for shipping... Help...

I know Overstock has cheap shipping charges! I'd also check on ebay too and ask the merchant what their shipping chargers are first. If I stumble on any websites, I'll let you know.

office depot appears have free shipping to AK (99611) if the total is over 50.00.

Most places default to UPS or Fed-EX on internet orders. Email them (or call) and ask if they will use USPS, it's a ton cheaper and a whole bunch faster.

Alaska office supplies
I live in Tanaina, Alaska and believe it or not I used a UK company (about a year ago), ww.mayfairstationers.co.uk that offered free shipping. You'd have to order over 100 though. I usually order the same stuff quarterly though so it's not a big deal. |

Wal-Mart, Amazon,and Office Depot as was mentioned before. The key is that most companies want to ship UPS or FED-EX and they do not deliver to PO Boxes which is what most areas have. If you can ship to a street address then so much the better. On some products Amazon will ship free if purchase is over $25 same with Office Depot on $35 or so. These are the ones I have used.

One name, AMAZON  free/fast shipping on $25 or more.
they always are having sales too! another perk!
since moving to AK 6 yrs ago, they have been my main source for near everything without leaving my house.
