That would actually be very easy, but to the winner go the spoils and it's about time. For myself justifying why when millions of people now have health care who did not in an exercise in futility so I choose not to and enjoy the day. But hey, that's just me. The battle has moved on to Banks and Housing in which significant changes are coming and unlike health care the Senate in a show of force changed the game on student loans. I mean nothing personal but spending effort on the health care debate is yesterdays news. If that makes me predictable you win. Improving the health safety and security of the citizens of this country is the game. I am sure that we share views on how that should be accomplished. care to join in..........?

So if that is true, how does this move us toward that goal?

CBO report: Debt will rise to 90% of GDP - Washington Times

I would argue that it directly undermines every single one of those causes to which you espouse.

Bwahahahahahaha.

I asked you yesterday which of the dire doomsday predictions of the rightwingers has come to pass. You gave us your (non)answer: ZERO. ZILCH. NADA. ZIFR.

The latest rightwing scare about the health care law is that the "IRS is going to come after you." Stay tuned for more hysterics.

Please don't sidetrack now.

Women's suffrage, Social Security, Medicare, Civil Rights Bill - each of these was supposed to doom America per the rightwingers of the day. NOW THAT'S LAUGHABLE, not to mention pathetic. Gee, their descendants do not seem to have any memory of their past absurdities.

Everyone from President Eisenhower (a Republican) to Martin Luther King was called a socialist, a communist etc in their time. Same thing now. The dunderheads continue their schtick unabated.

The Civil Rights Act was filibustered by Senate Democrats. It was brought to cloture by Senate Republicans. Final passage of the bill garnered more Republican support by percentage than Democratic support in both Houses of Congress.

Guess you weren't here yet and missed that part of American history.

Guess you did not carefully read what I wrote. I made no claim of Democrats of Republicans on that specific point. I said rightwingers. And in those days rightwingers also meant Democrats. Get it?

My father firmly believed that if Jimmy Carter were elected, Russia would take us over and we would become "comrads". Nyet!
