strange U should mention Haines
I 've being looking at Haines real estate for several months since RV camping there the last couple of years.Weather seem milder. The prices for homes and lots to build on seem to be more modest than Juneau where it seems some of the more well off are building. Also, you can drive out of there as oppose to Juneau. Maybe, we will be neighbors one of these days

Do a google search on "lende, heather". She writes a column for the Anchorage Daily News and lives in Haines. She has published a great book which is a compilation of many columns. I get some great info on the people and culture of Haines from her columns. Love em.
