I Worked In Anchorage At Alaska Regional A Few Years Ago. There Is Allways A Need For Nurses In Anchorage. There Are Three Hospitals There. Alaska Regional (a Columbia Hca Hosp.), Providence And The Native Hosp. Also There Is An Instate Travel Agency You Can Work For. They Will Take You To The Small Village Clinics Around The State. I Never Worked For Them But Know People Who Have And The Love The Adventure. Good Luck

There is an excellent agency in Anchorage that sends nurses out to the bush- Bethel, Kotzebue, Nome, Dillingham, and Barrow. I have heard they do short and long-term assignments. Try American Nursing Services
www.american-nurse.com. It was started by a nurse in Anchorage who really knows the area. |
