Hah! Only if potatoes are generally socially backward, racist homophobes.
Seriously, I realize this is a bit of a blanket statement, and I've met some really nice people in Idaho, but the fact that the Idaho forum here has hosted more than one discussion on the appropriateness of choosing a place to move based on where has the highest concentration of white people (and the people who speak out against it, including me, getting their posts deleted) and that being tolerated, says something. And that something is not at all pleasant.

Thanks anyway, but this is ostensibly a public forum, and I'm not averse to speaking publicly where anyone can see and hear what I might have to say, and that's also the place where anyone else may wish to join in that discussion.
Personally, I have no desire to spend time analyzing why you may do one thing or another, I'd rather focus on issues with much more relevance to myself and possibly to others.

An omelet with a bit of spinach and some smoked King salmon is sounding heavenly just now, perhaps with freshly baked bread with some salmonberry jam on it.

User reminds me of a friend that went by the name Sinbad in another forum. Sayings and attitude are very alike.

Dear me, that sounds lovely. I could do with some pan fried salmon cut into chunks and mixed up with brown rice and some veggies. Not traditionally Alaskan, but yummy all the same.
Hmm... off topic...

I cooked up some beer battered cod tonite, and it was amazingly delicious. The wife thought I had the oil a little too high though and had a fit.

duh
The reason that most of the cars in the ditch have Alaskan plates, is because 99% of the cars in Alaka have Alaskan plates.

The truth be told, perhaps the worst winter drivers are the long-time Alaskan cheapskates who are too stingy to put real snow tires on their truck.
Funny how all the cars in the ditch along the Glen after the first big snow all have Alaska plates. They're the ones who waited too long to get to Johnsons Tire and switch out.

Huh?
Do you think that might be because 99% of the cars in Alaska are registered in Alaska?
Even the new additions!

You have to watch the liscence number sequence. Right now in Fairbanks the newest Plates start with F so we can tell who the newbies are. Give em extra room, the car is new to them, or they are new to our roads.
