My boyfriend's friend's boat was in a Chevy truck commercial that was filmed here, but I still haven't seen it.

The travel channel did one of those food shows about hot dog places in the US a while back. They featured MA, the guy who sells reindeer dogs in front of the 4th st Federal Bldg. I stop by and chat with him at least once a week during the summers.

Martin Buser and the Seaveys have been on numerous TV shows. I am casually acquainted with both of them and various members of their families.

And of course I have personally met Sens. Stevens, Murkowski, Begich...Rep Young...Gov Palin...and Rep Berkowitz...all of them are on TV.

Finally, my wife has been on the local news a few times, caught in line for PFD applications, waiting at polling places, and at the Ted Stevens welcome home rally just before the election in '08. Also, photos taken by Jo Jo (Warpt) and others I know in the area (and even my own) are occasionally featured on the Channel 2 news.
