Default Fire arms for bears ?

Bears are in fact all for recreational shooting !

In a recent Alaskan survey, local bears said recreational shooting should be available to all......... as long as bears have equal access to fire arms.
I'me actually all for it, as long as I have movie rights and can sell trail side tickets.
With the Humans v Bears shoot out going on, the salmon will be extatic, in fact Salmonis Maximus has already offered a major sponsership.
Regards, Cgsred.

The jingle jangle of those little bears always disguises the sounds of breaking twigs. Absolutely worthless.

There's too much conflicting info out there.

I plan on going prepared soon..in other words with enough to blow these creatures away should they ever attack me.

There's no evidence as far as I know that they're effective on black bears, either. I'm not convinced that the bells are prevalent enough even in areas with large human populations for bears to make the connection that bell = human (or anything else they'd want to steer clear of), but especially in areas with low human population density, there's no reason at all to think that bears know what a bell is supposed to mean. They just give people a false sense of security and lead them to not make the sorts of noises that would actually help keep bears away. They're downright dangerous, IMO.

Don't sell those "Blackies short".....................I was curious, so I did a little home work on the internet.................:

Since January 2000 there have been (7) official reported Fatalities due to Black Bear encounters in the U.S. and (9) Fatalities in the Canadian provinces!

Interesting, in that 2 of the 7 fatal (in the US) attacks were in Tennessee.....and one of those was a 50 yr old women who was killed by a 112 pound bear!

"Size really doesn't matter"...............in most cases!!
