We will have to get used to ordering everything for the most part. We are used to buying for the whole month, so with adjustments, we should figure out how to order enough supplies and food for a while.

The biggest dent on Ray's old head came from during the last presidential election, when his poor wife caught him salivating over a photoshopped picture of the former half term governor of the state and failed VP candidate----she got him pretty good that time though I cannot say that he learned anything from the incident.

There are several threads here dedicated to Ray's fat head; I think I'm going to do an ice carving of it and enter it next year up in Fairbanks.

You'll be amazed, too, by how much of your time that actually frees up.

Before the last barge sails this fall, might want to look into what people do here in Bethel...Span Alaska Sales...

Span Alaska Sales - Shipping Groceries World Wide Since 1972

Order by the bulk!

Akiak does have a couple of small stores, a corporation store and the Ivan Store. They do stock soda by the triple pack.

When you come here in a couple weeks, tell Wade Renfro that Joe Joe said hi.

I will have tell him hi for you Joe Joe. Maybe I'll get down to Bethel during the two and a half weeks that I am up in Alaska this first trip. I'll definitely have to listen to the radio.

Well yes, and he posts here quite often as well, usually when he's quite deeply into his cups.
