Hello
I currently am a MBA in Professional Accounting student at Rutgers Business School (should be graduating in August '11) and instead of staying NJ/NYC area (with tons of financial jobs
) I'm contemplating moving up to the Albany region. I frequently travel to upstate and am in love with it, though I'm not sure if there is much in the way of jobs for accountants.
I've noticed Deloitte, KPMG, and a few other big accounting firms are located here, along with the state government though I don't know much about the prospects available.
Are there any accountants/auditors/tax professionals from the Albany area that can give me a bit more incite into the job market / average salaries / outlook / etc.?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for all your help
