Anyone know the story behind this building on the corner of Troy-Schenectady Rd (Rt 2) & Old Loudon Rd? The building went through a major renovation about a year ago although it was never completed. Now it's been torn down and it looks like something else is being built. It's the building across the street from Mobil near the Latham circle. I added a link from google street view.

Drove by there today and noticed they added a big new sign that says it's going to be a Papa Johns. I still can't get over how much someone must have spent renovating that building only for it to be torn down.
