I was offered a paid summer internship (the tentative dates are May 25 to August 12, but this may slightly change) in Rensselaer. I don't know anything about the area besides the fact that there are colleges close by. If it's anything like my college, some off-campus students sublet for the summer.
Ideally, I do not want to pay more than $575 a month and would want to be in a decent area (where my car won't get broken into). That being said, parking is extremely important to me and being within 20 minutes of Rensselaer.
Does anyone have advice on websites to search for sublets, experiences with certain areas (especially which areas to avoid), and general advice on where supermarkets are located?
