I was looking to explore the pine bush trails , the map online is a bit confusing . I either wanted to hike the 3 different trails or mountain bike .
Can you mountain bike the regular trails or is there a stand alone trail for bikes only ? And what is the trail system across the road from the learning center building ?
Thanks in advance

Mountain biking is only allowed on marked trails, you just have to yield to hikers and horses. From the Discovery Center, you can do a quick loop on the blue trail (.9 miles ) and then do the yellow trail, which is an outer loop that takes you out near the Albany land fill (2.6 miles). If you do the loops clockwise, the yellow trail follows a footbridge on your left after you leave the sign-in kiosk. If you continue clockwise on the yellow trail, you can take the white trail connector (on your left as you're heading back toward the DC) to access the trails on the other side of Route 155. Similar to the blue and yellow trails, there is a shorter loop (red at .6) and a longer loop (blue at .8). As you're probably aware, the trails are sandy and you'll see signs everywhere warning of ticks.
