Towers of Colonie in Albany (apartment, renting, low crime)

I am considering renting an apartment in the Towers of Colonie. Has anyone had experience with that place? Is it safe? Is parking secure? Clean? Quiet? Any thoughts, reviews welcome

My neighbor's parents live there and my neighbor is an attorney, so I assume that it must be pretty nice. It is located on a track of land between the South Colonie High School and Colonie Center Mall. Colonie in general is a very nice place to live... low crime and such. As for quiet or not, you may get some noise from the school. I know there is a softball field and I think another practice field that are closest to the Towers. There are some trees in between though I think. It is very close the mall... it is definitely walkable in good weather. I've never been inside the place, so I can't tell you about that, but I would consider it a desireable location, if the aforementioned neighbors aren't a problem for you.

I have been living @ the Towers of Colonie complex for several months now, and it has most definitely exceeded my expectations. The grounds are very clean. I also feel safe because of the locks and intercom entry system. I can walk right next door to the school for a run around the track anytime, or walk to our other neighbor, the Colonie Center Mall, which just upgraded it theater by the way. You get what you pay for!

Hi, Ive lived in Towers of Colonie for 1.5 years now. Its safe, quiet and very secure. The maintenance crew are very prompt for lockouts etc. My microwave stopped working a few months ago and in 3 days they installed a brand new one!! Its bug free, very friendly neighbors, a beautiful pool, fully equipped community room, a nice gym and laundry facilities (although the dryers are old). Plenty of parking, a small park for kids to play. The snow removal is very prompt and I leave for work at 8 am, driveways are always clean when I leave. Ull love it.
