Investigation underway after man found dead for 37 days inside recovery center - WTEN

His mom says, “He was on the right track.” Of course.

It wasn't the staff that found him. It was an exterminator.

"When NEWS10 ABC reached out to the Hudson Mohawk’s main office for comment, they stated it would have to check with their attorney before commenting." The usual public sector omerta.

The local news isn't any better. This happened in mid-January and only made the news last week.

Well this will do wonders for Troy's reputation. The city can't catch a break.

It won't do anything to Troy's reputation because it is consistent with it.

I think this speaks more about the facility than the city itself.

Also, a thing I've been noticing is that some people from New Jersey with drug recovery issues have been coming to centers in Upstate NY. So, the conspiracy theorist in me makes me wonder if that plays a part, as to discourage this from occurring. Maybe not in an active way, but in an indifferent way.

t isn't good for Upstate to be known as the drug rehab capital of the US.

I've heard similar things about parolees from a local politician. Criminals from NY are being paroled to the Capital District, says he. But he's a politician..

Yeah, I don’t know if it is known as the drug rehab capital, but there has been evidence of said people from NJ coming for that reason in the past.
