Have you recently used a walk in clinic near Siena College? Looking for recommendations and feedback from those who've recently used one. There is one just up 9 from campus but have no idea as to the quality of care. This would be for a potential orthopedic issue.

Thanks in advance!

Not familiar with the walk-in clinic near Siena but I've been to a few orthopedic offices in the area. Bone and Joint has a walk in center specifically for orthopedic services at their site on Washington Ave in Albany. I know a couple of people that had to bring their kids there following sports injuries.

Thank you. I've been reading some mixed reviews about the place near the college. School doesn't have another break until Easter weekend, which prevents getting into a doctor back home. At the very least, I would like to get her assessed and diagnosed rather than have her wait in discomfort until she's back home for the summer.

I'll just add that I've personally been treated at Bone and Joint 5 times for injuries and arthritis related issues related to sports injuries from my younger days. For a torn tendon I went to my local doctor's office and they recommended I go to B&J. For a procedure I needed on my knee I asked my Dr. if her husband needed this same procedure who would she have him see. She replied she would send him to the Orthopedist I was seeing at B&J. I will say that some of the Ortho doctors at B&J, as thorough and knowledgeable as they are, can be brusk with that certain attitude that comes with experience. That might account for some of the mixed reviews.

I can also relate to what you're going through. My youngest offspring needs his wisdom teeth taken out. We're taking him for the consultation next week when he's home from college. But he's going to have to wait until the semester is over next month to get the procedure done because of the follow up visit he'll need.

Good luck.
