From the Albany Business Review...
"Think about where the wealth lives in the region and few things might come to mind: Neighborhoods in Albany's suburbs, downtown Saratoga Springs or summer homes on Lake George.
While those places are among the wealthiest in the region, a closer look at the data shows that wealth in the region is spread across many locations.
Topping The List is the 12148 ZIP code, which covers Rexford and bounds the Hudson River in southern Saratoga County. It has highest median household income in the region.
But while Saratoga County has the most entries on this List with 14, eight of the region’s 11 counties are represented among the 50 wealthiest spots in the region.
The Census data for 2018, the most recent available, pegs household income in Rexford at over $116,000 a year — one of only six ZIP codes to top $100K in the region."

Are there any surprises in terms of the rest of the zip codes? East Greenbush having a higher median household income than Clifton Park, given the popularity of the latter, kind of surprised me. I am wondering if the presence of Regeneron in East Greenbush is a factor in that regard.

Also, given the information, I'm surprised that Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake doesn't get mentioned that much or hasn't in the past on here in terms of school districts to look into. Its proximity to Global Foundries, GE and Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory is likely appealing to those that work at those places. A portion of the Rexford zip code is also in that SD.

Lots of two-earner households and both work for the state or local government. Remember, local school teachers, police, firemen, town employees, often make well more than $100K each.

Yeah, you hear more about Niskayuna, Clifton Park, Latham, Loudonville, Guilderland, Delmar, etc., but it seems like there are other places that are up there that don’t get recognized as much. It seems like Vorheesville, the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake area and even East Greenbush are like that as well.
I think with Rexford, it also comes down to the school districts that serve the zip code(Niskayuna, BH-BL and Shenendehowa).

Loudonville. Generally around Schuyler Meadows Country Club, and close to Sienna College.
