Default Hoosick Falls, New York

Does anyone know about Hoosick Falls, NY--I know it's small, around 3600 people, but anything else about what it's like there? General or specific information? People mostly go to Troy or Bennington to shop, etc?

Hoosick Falls, is a very lovely town, my late father used to summer their and I fell in love with the area, many years ago outside of town there was a lake called Babcock Lake, there once was a hotel/bar......burned to the ground in the 60's, but the lake is still there (I hope). We'd take rides to see the Bennington Monument which were minutes away. We'd stay at a motel just outside town, Herb and his wife owned it.
