We will be relocating to Albany metro area within the next few months and we are coming from a state that has medical, religious, and personal belief exemptions for vaccines. Here you just fill out a form at the school, mark the box for personal belief exemption, sign and your done.

I've done research on the net for NY State and it says you have to write a letter explaining your beliefs in detail and in some school districts they hold hearings w/lawyers questioning those beliefs before they grant/deny your request

We will be house hunting in the Colonie, Guilderland and E. Greenbush school districts and would like to know if anyone has experience with exemptions with these districts and what the process is for each.
