It is going to be another huge meet at Saratoga. With gas prices so high people are going to stay locally and opt for a Saratoga vacation rather than flying or driving far. Good value at the racetrack with $3 admission giving you access to the best racing in the world at a historic beautiful facility from the civil war era. Look for the Spa to have a banner year.

When traveling north on Interstate 87 (The Northway), Exit 13N goes through Saratoga Springs, whereas Exit 14 goes almost directly to the Race Track. Parking at the track is available for a fee on home owner's land across the street from the Race Track grounds or inside the Race Track gate just past Handicap parking. Many people bring a backpack with snacks and drinks (or a rolling ice chest), a plastic cloth for a picnic table and then watch the races at their table on nearby TV monitors mounted throughout the picnic area. For $3 entrance fee, $10 parking fee and a $2 bet on each of 10 races; your day at the races can be a most economical and enjoyable outing for the entire family.
