1835 Land Deed for Stillwater
I have in my possession an authentic quick claim land deed dated March 9, 1835. The names on the deed are Moses Warren Scott (Seller) and Moses Scott (Buyer) both from the "village of Waterford, Saratoga County, New York." The deed is for land in "Stillwater Village, along Hudson River." The name, John Myers, also appears as the land owner of the property that borders the Scott property.
