Default Need affordable area and good schools 30-60 miles from Glenmont?

Can someone please help me. I am looking for a place that has good schools as one of my children has special needs and I would also like to not have to spend major bucks for a small house. I currently own a 2300 square ft house which we built and will probably only get about 170,000 for it because I am in the mid-west in a small town. I was looking at Clifton park but that seems pricey. I would like a town that has great family atmosphere and good schools. I would like to stay no more then an hour away from glenmont. Thanks for your help.

Try the Kinderhook/Valatie area. Ichabod Crane is an excellent school system. Housing prices should be what you are looking for.

What about the South Colonie area(Colonie is the name of the high school)? Could East Greenbush, Cohoes, Rotterdam and Averill Park be good options?

Default Many areas are within 30-60 minutes of Glenmont

I am a local real estate agent and there are many areas convenient to Glenmont. Are you looking for rural or surburbs? I would suggest looking at Voorheesville, Bethlehem, Delmar, East Greenbush, Schodack, Valatie, Kinderhook, Altamont, and there are many others.

If you would like further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me and I would be happy to answer any questions you have about the area. I relocated to this area almost 20 years ago and love it.
